OUTDAUGHTERED SEASON 9 DROPS FIRST TRAILER & RELEASE DATE

OutDaughtered season 9 will premiere in summer 2023, and the just-released trailer is revealing what to expect from the Busby family this time. OutDaughtered features the Busby quints who made national headlines with their births in April 2015. Danielle Busby was the first ever American woman to have given birth to all girl-quintuplets. Danielle and Adam Busby were already parents to a then 3-year-old daughter Blayke at the time. The famous reality TV quints--Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige, and Parker Kate--were also the first all-girl quintuplets born in the world since 1969.

OutDaughtered season 8 began airing in February 2021 following a hiatus of several months due to filming restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now after two more years of waiting, TLC has shared the trailer for OutDaughtered season 9, which premieres Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET. Olivia, Hazel, Riley, Parker, and Ava are growing fast and have already celebrated their 8th birthdays.

They are losing teeth, going to dance recitals, learning to ride bikes, and even getting cold feet when it comes to the long-awaited Daddy-Daughter-Daughter-Daughter-Daughter-Daughter dance. Meanwhile, Blayke is now a confident 12-year-old attending middle school and wanting to throw a Friendsgiving party all by herself.

OutDaughtered Stars Danielle & Adam Work On Finding A "Balance"

The OutDaughtered season 9 trailer addresses a concern that Adam and Danielle are facing about Hazel because she’s the only one being unable to ride a bike. “You just gotta keep going,” Blayke tells her little sister, who has left Adam and Danielle, whether it’s got something to do with her vision or low self-confidence. Danielle has been focused on the opening of her boutique, and Adam's role in the house has changed “quite a bit.” He admits that everything isn’t “great” with Danielle being away. He expects “control freak” Danielle to “find a balance.” While Danielle agrees that she and Adam need to “be a team,” she admits they’re also “not there yet.”

The hiatus didn’t stop Adam and Danielle from sharing updates of their lives on YouTube, but since there was no official news of their comeback just yet, there were questions over whether the TLC show was canceled. Adam and Danielle used their YouTube channel in July 2022 to let their fans know that they were very much returning to reality TV but also had decided to give their family a break from the cameras, especially since they filmed during the pandemic. Since then, Adam has dropped several hints on Instagram alluding to them coming back.

OutDaughtered season 8 told the story of Danielle's declining health owing to an autoimmune disorder. She was shown struggling to get a diagnosis while juggling her duties as a mom to her six kids. The new trailer doesn’t mention Danielle's health issues, but she’s now putting her heart and soul into Graeson Bee Boutique, the family business. While this might cause difficulties in her married life with Adam, according to the trailer, OutDaughtered season 9 looks like it promises to deliver more adventure and smiles.

OutDaughtered season 9 premieres July 11 at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
