Miranda Lambert is in the middle of her Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, and she has unfortunately been forced to take a break. The "Mama's Broken Heart" singer revealed that she is under a doctor's care and has been placed on vocal rest and ultimately had to cancel her show on March 30. Miranda expressed her disappointment and said she hopes to get back to the stage soon.
Miranda shared a personal update with her fans on Twitter, along with instructions on how ticket holders could get a refund. She wrote, "Hey y'all. I have been under a doctor's care all day to see if things improved, however unfortunately I've been put on vocal rest and we have to cancel our show tonight. To those fans who made plans to spend their Thursday night with us, I truly apologize. I am working hard to get better for shows on Saturday and Sunday. See you all soon, and thank you for understanding. ❤️"
Fans left messages of support and passed along wishes for her recovery.
We're sending Miranda wishes for a speedy recovery! Her residency continues through December.
