TOM HOLLAND BREAKS HIS SILENCE TO THIRST OVER ZENDAYA’S MET GALA LOOKS
Zendaya’s real-life Romeo, Tom Holland, couldn’t make it to the Met Gala, as he is four days away from opening night of London’s Romeo and Juilet, where he’s playing the titular role. But his girlfriend was very much on his mind—and he let the public know that Tuesday morning. Holland posted an Instagram featuring two photos of her in both her red carpet looks. (Zendaya wore a third outfit inside.) He captioned the post, “😍😍😍”
As the Met Gala red carpet began, Holland signaled he wouldn’t be attending when he posted an Instagram Story of his golf injury:
Holland and Zendaya have never walked a red carpet as a couple since they finished promoting their Spider-Man films together in December 2021. They remain publicly supportive of each other though, with Zendaya telling Vogue recently that she “could not be more proud” of Holland playing Romeo. “I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can.”
She also raved about Holland’s charisma during her Dune: Part 2 press tour in February. She was asked which cast member had the most “rizz.”
“Rizz is short for charisma, right?” she started. “Everybody’s kind of got their own. I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally, works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland. I’m more shy and kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he’s great at just talking to people and getting to know people. You see him on talk shows and stuff like that. He’s just naturally very good at that. Whereas for me, I’ve definitely had to pull it out of me a little bit. He’s got that natural gift.”
