AFTER MULTIPLE DELAYS, K-DRAMA BEGINS YOUTH TO RELEASE IN APRIL 2024; HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BTS-INSPIRED SERIES

BTS fans have another reason to rejoice. After multiple delays, the K-drama inspired by the lives of the Bangtan Boys (BTS) will finally see the light of day. The show has been in production since 2020, and despite the filming having wrapped up in 2021, the series witnessed multiple delays.

Begins Youth showcases the septet's adolescent years, and will have a heartbreaking narrative. The series that has been produced by HYBE Labels in collaboration with Chorokbaem Media and Finger Labs has locked a release window of April 2024. It will premiere via Xclusive, but the release date is yet to be announced.

The K-drama will be divided into three parts, each season comprising 12 episodes. The series revolves around a friend group - Hwan, Cein, Hosu, Dogeon, Haru, Jooan, and Jeha - that deals with a never-ending string of challenges like familial struggles, societal burdens and more. The septet's friendship will be the moral compass of the show that illustrates that their bond can overcome all obstacles.

Duty After School actor Noh Jong Hyun will play the character of Min Yoon Gi. He is an introvert and is surrounded by rumours like committing arson and even taking the life of his mother. Whereas in reality he is a warm personality for whom his mother is the most important person in his life. He plays the piano to deal with his traumas until a group of six lads befriends him without any prejudices.
