SHOWS LIKE 'TED LASSO,' WHEN YOU'RE READY TO CHEER (AND SOB) AGAIN

On May 31, the Season Three finale of Ted Lasso aired on Apple TV+, marking what might be the end of the heartwarming sports comedy. (None of us—Ted Lasso's cast includedreally know.) We know it’s hard to accept! Especially after the finale made you weep. Several times. You can, of course, watch reruns of Ted Lasso for as long as you’d like. We wouldn’t blame you for doing so. But if you’re ready for something new, you’ve come to the right place. Ted Lasso is a heartwarming tale of new beginnings and perseverance, but at its core, it’s workplace comedy. Luckily, the streaming-verse has even more to offer. From The Good Place, to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, to Abbott Elementary—these eight shows are sure to fill the Ted Lasso-sized hole in your heart.

Welcome to Wrexham

Welcome to Wrexham is what Ted Lasso would look like if it happened in real life. The documentary series follows Rob McElhenny and Ryan Reynolds's transformation from Hollywood actors to football owners. In 2020, the famous duo purchased the Red Dragons, and became leaders of a rag-tag football team without any experience. Sound familiar? Throughout the documentary, McElhenny and Reynolds learn to juggle their newfound responsibilities with the help of the team and surrounding community.
