THE STORY TELLERS | THE HOSTS BEHIND WONDERY'S FAN FAVORITE BUSINESS PODCASTS | PRESENTED BY WONDERY

THR's "The Story Tellers" offers a rare inside look behind "Scamfluencers" and "The Big Flop," two of Wondery's biggest business and culture podcasts today. "Scamfluencers'" unpacks stories of influencers who scammed their way across industries like social media, fashion, finance, and health, while "The Big Flop" focuses on famous failures in pop culture and business-they both share the same core tenet: a lighthearted and humor-filled approach to sharing business stories. Both shows also touch on the often overlooked underbelly of business stories that aren't necessarily successes, but still offer a lot to learn from and be entertained by.

"The nature of scams, especially once you dig into them, is that they're all quite silly-especially when they have these larger than life personalities of people that are so ridiculous and insane, and you're like, ‘How do they get away with it?'" Sarah Hagi, co-host of "Scamfluencers" alongside Scaachi Koul, shares in the video. "It's very hard to not just be constantly laughing out loud, and I feel like it just lends to a really nice conversation when we record the show."

Comedian, social media personality, and host of "The Big Flop" Misha Brown echoes that sentiment in their conversation. "I think humor is the answer to most things in life, and I think laughter and poking fun, especially punching up, is a way for us to enjoy things. Especially on our podcast, when we're talking about rich people who-spoiler alert-at the end of the episode are still really really rich!"

Throughout the video, the hosts give sneak peeks into future episodes to come and dive deep into their love of dynamic storytelling-"We don't want to just be spouting off facts and numbers; we figure out who the main character is, what sparked this idea, what caused it to fail," Brown explains-and spotting important details, like how entire scams come down to "one tiny thing that someone looks over and the scam can continue," Hagi says.
